EDFY Inc. ("EDFY", "we", "us", "our") operates the EDFY mobile application and related services (the "Service"). EDFY is a family-friendly, 100% positive social media platform available on iOS and Android.

We collect the following categories of personal information when you use EDFY:
We do not collect your precise GPS location, access your contacts, or read your camera roll beyond photos you explicitly choose to upload.
We do not use your personal data to show third-party advertising.
All content submitted to EDFY (posts, captions, comments, images, and videos) is processed by our AI moderation system ("Vibe Check™") before being published. Content that does not meet our Positive Content Standards is blocked and not stored publicly. All AI moderation decisions are logged in an immutable audit trail and subject to human administrator review. You may appeal any moderation decision by contacting support@edfyapp.com.
Text Moderation — Powered by Anthropic Claude™: Post captions, comments, usernames, display names, and bios are analyzed by the Anthropic Claude API to detect toxicity, hate speech, coded language, and content that violates our community standards. Only the text content is transmitted to Anthropic — no personal account credentials or private user data are shared. Anthropic's use of data is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
Image & Video Moderation — Powered by Anthropic Claude Vision™: Profile photos, post images, and video frames (sampled at multiple points throughout each uploaded video) are analyzed by Anthropic Claude Vision to detect nudity, sexual content, graphic violence, drug use, and other prohibited content. Only the image or video frame data is transmitted to Anthropic for safety analysis. No biometric data or facial recognition is performed. "Claude" is a trademark of Anthropic PBC.
EDFY AI Chat — Powered by Google Gemini™: EDFY AI is a conversational assistant available within the app. When you use EDFY AI, your text messages are transmitted to the Google Gemini API for processing. No photos or video are transmitted. Conversation data is used solely to generate responses and is not stored by EDFY beyond your session. A one-time disclosure is shown before your first use. Google's use of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. "Google Gemini" is a trademark of Google LLC.
Social Mirror Screening — Powered by Google Gemini™: When you voluntarily submit content through EDFY's Social Mirror feature, the post caption is analyzed by the Google Gemini API to determine a GREEN (auto-post), YELLOW (admin review), or RED (blocked) verdict. Only the caption text is transmitted — no account credentials or private information.
We share your information only in these circumstances:
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
We retain your account data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records. Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained longer.
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to object to processing and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident, you have rights under CCPA/CPRA including the right to know, right to delete, and right to opt-out of sale (we do not sell data).
EDFY is designed to be family-friendly but our Service is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at support@edfyapp.com and we will delete the account promptly.
For users ages 13–17, we encourage parental supervision and recommend parents review this policy with their children.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. Please protect your account password and notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access.
Our mobile app does not use browser cookies. We use session tokens to keep you logged in securely. We may use anonymized analytics tools to understand app usage patterns. We do not use cross-app tracking for advertising purposes.
EDFY may display YouTube content through an embedded discovery feature. YouTube is operated by Google LLC and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We filter all YouTube content with SafeSearch Strict mode. EDFY is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notification or email. Your continued use of EDFY after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
